ABB’s charge! offers easy access to the world of turbocharging, providing industry news, features and opinion pieces at the touch of a button. However, you don’t always have internet access on your phones, tablets or computers. Which is why we’ve also made it easy to create your very own personalized and printable version of charge!.
Whether you work in marine, construction, power generation or other sectors, it’s easy to select the stories that are relevant to your industry, or simply the stories that interest you most. And once you’re ready, you’ll be able to print your custom magazine to take with you wherever you go and read at your own convenience.
To get started on your very own charge! magazine, tap the menu button at the top right corner.

Then select ‘My Magazine’ from the list that appears.

You’ll need to be logged in to create your own personalized magazine, and tapping ‘My Magazine’ will take you to the sign in page. If you haven’t already created an account, simply follow the instructions onscreen, otherwise enter your details and tap the ‘Sign in’ button.

Once you’ve signed in, you’ll be taken back to the home screen, but being logged in makes it possible to select the stories you want to appear in your magazine. There’s a small red button in the top right corner of each story – simply tap twice to add that story to your list.

You can also add stories to your list once you’ve opened them – if something catches your eye when you’re reading it, you’ll see that same red button at the right hand side – once again just tap it twice to add to your wish list.

Think you’ve picked all the articles you’re interested in? Head back to the home page and tap that menu button at the top right. Pick ‘My Magazine’ once again, and this time your list will be populated with the articles you’ve already selected. From here it’s easy to change the order of stories, or delete them from the list.

Once you’re certain you’ve got everything you want to include, tap the ‘Generate PDF’ button.

This creates a readable and printable PDF, with all the articles you’ve selected.

Once printed, it works just like a traditional magazine, with stories you can take with you or share with colleagues you think would be interested in the articles – even the images are exported to PDF along with the text.
